I am getting back into the desire of traveling more again in my life. Taking my wife on some road trips across the country is in the works. We took a drive from Ohio to Nevada about nine years ago. I wish we had the ShelfPack suitcase with us, it would have made packing so much easier.
Let me start off by saying it was a pleasure to get a chance to review this suitcase from ShelfPack. They believe in their product and if you have questions, they take the time to answer them to your satisfaction.
So what are the 4 reasons you are going to love this suitcase? 4 separate shelves that can be used to organize your items in a neat and efficient way.
You can use a shelf for men’s socks and underwear. You can use the next shelf for a woman’s bras and panties. Next shelf you can put a man’s pants and shirts, and lastly the last shelf you can use for her pants/skirts and shirts that she is going to wear.
Coming out of the box, everything was easy to set up. I unzipped the suitcase and the top of it is a webbed fabric that stays in place standing up. Lifting the handles up on the inside of the bag was a breeze. Just press the buttons in the middle of the handle and lift. The four shelves hang on the two extended handles that were raised and there you go, organized and ready to start your vacation or business trip.
There are also 4 large zippered pockets on the outer shell of the suitcase. One that goes about half way down the length of the outside, and the 3 external ones as well. You can put electronics in there, medicine, toiletries and so much more.
When I was doing research on the ShelfPack, they had an excellent idea. Once the shelves are lifted out of the suitcase, either hanging from the handles, or in a closet in the room. You can now use the bottom for clothes you have already used and then just put the shelves in on top when you are done with whatever is left. Will make laundry a breeze when you return.
The material that the ShelfPack is made of seems very durable and easy to clean if something was to get on it. The zippers are firm and did not seem loose at all. I am very pleased with the construction of this bag. The only downside I can see about the bag is that it is slightly heavier than other suitcases. This is because of the structure inside the bag that makes it work so well. After using it some I found that I got used to it, but the weight of it did not hinder me from enjoying the practicality of it.
My thoughts are this is the perfect bag use if you might be tired of packing two separate bags on previous trips that you have made. This is also great for that single traveler who might have 2-3 weeks of traveling to do, and you need and extensive wardrobe to accompany you. I can see my wife and I using this for some time while we take on the world!
This suitcase might make the perfect gift idea for that student heading off to college for the first time, or that person who loves to do a good deal of traveling and might need something that can take most of their wardrobe in one bag.
So how many pieces of luggage do you currently travel with? Wouldn’t it be nice to condense some of that down? What do you think is your favorite feature of the ShelfPack Suitcase?
